ReplyFor a primary with a renewal and 3 county issues and no candidates, he is saying that was a high turnout. Sad? Yes. But consider in the same race Avon Lake had an approximate 4 percent voter turnout. This year, the average turnout in Lorain County was slightly higher than 13 percent.

The number used would not be the assessed total value, it is on the Total Market Value. The increase is $253 for each $100,000 of Total Market Value not assessed value. So the increase in taxes on a home with a Total Market Value of $250,000 is approximately $633 annually give or take a dollar.

I turned on the hose last week and a spider came out. Good reason to wait a bit before drinking out of the hose. Unless you're partial to eating (drinking?) spiders. *shudder*
