Steve Sneiderman has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Andrea Sneiderman, the widow of his slain brother Russell Sneiderman, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. Hemy Neuman, who shot and killed Beachwood native Russell Sneiderman outside an Atlanta-area day care center in November 2010, testified that he had an affair with Andrea Sneiderman. Ariela Barkoni spoke with media for the first time this week following the finalization of her divorce from the man who killed Beachwood native Russell "Rusty" Sneiderman. Video from WSB-TV: Day care killer's marriage officially ends Barkoni was married to Hemy Neuman, who gunned down Sneiderman outside a Dunwoody, Ga. daycare center in late 2010. "We went through a very long and hard, painful journey, but I feel relieved," Ariela Barkoni, formerly Ariela Neuman, told Atlanta's WSB-TV News. The Sneiderman family told reporters today that they had suspected that Andrea Sneiderman was involved in Beachwood native Russell Sneiderman's death for some time, according to Dunwoody Patch. And with Hemy Neuman sentenced to life without parole, it appears that investigators intend to turn their attention to the murdered man's widow. Andrea Sneiderman is accused of having an affair with Neuman, and it has been alleged that she had a part in the murder of her husband. Neuman admitted to gunning down Russell "Rusty" Sneiderman outside a daycare center in Dunwoody, Georgia, a crime that caught the eye of national media outlets, but he says that he was insane when he did it. A judge has sentenced Hemy Neuman to life in prison without parole for shooting and killing Beachwood native Rusty Sneiderman in Dunwoody, GA. The jury ruled Neuman guilty but mentally ill this afternoon and sentencing began at about 3:15 p.m. today. Hemy Neuman has admitted to shooting Sneiderman but contended that he was insane at the time of the incident.
