Bruegger's collection for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals coincides with the bakery's 30th anniversary

Bruegger's Bagel Bakery is offering free bagels as an incentive to convince people to donate to children's hospitals -- both locally and across the country. On Thursday, from open until 2 p.m., guests can visit any participating Bruegger’s Bagels bakery, present a coupon and receive three free bagels of their choice. In return, guests are encouraged to donate to their local Children’s Miracle Network hospital and help kids and families in need. The network has 170 hospitals, including University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital. The money collected at Bruegger's in Northeast Ohio will go to Rainbow. All Bruegger's locations are offering free coffee Nov. 14. The bagel cafe asks that, in exchange, customers to donate spare change or more to help raise money for local children's hospitals.
All Bruegger's Bagel stores are offering customers free coffee Wednesday, Nov. 14 as part of a campaign to raise money for local children's hospitals. In exchange for a free cup of joe, Bruegger's asks that customers donate spare change or more to help raise money for the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, which includes nearly 50 hospitals nationwide. People can pick up free coffee from opening until 2 p.m., and donation canisters will be near the register. In 2011, customers raised nearly $30,000 for local hospitals on Free Coffee Day. This year, the goal is $100,000. In addition to free coffee, Bruegger's continues its "Bottomless Mug Club" sale, which ends Jan. 31, 2013. Local college students, faculty and neighbors can get a free bagel from 5:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 13 at the Cleveland Heights location on Cedar Road.
Bruegger's Bagels on Cedar Road in Cleveland Heights is welcoming local college students back to school with something they appreciate and can't resist — free food. The Cedar Fairmount location will offer bagels with cream cheese on the house from 5:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 13. The promotion is meant to be for local college students, faculty and neighbors, and the press release specifically mentioned Case Western and John Carroll University. But coupons or IDs are not required. Bruegger's hopes to serve more than 400 free bagels at its Cleveland Heights location, 12443 Cedar Road.
