The theme for this year's benefit is “Into the Future, Agnon Students Soar to Great Heights”
The Agnon School will have its auction benefit auction from 6 to 10 p.m. on April 21. The theme for this benefit -- the school's 24th annual -- is “Into the Future, Agnon Students Soar to Great Heights.” Tickets cost $55 each and include an open bar plus dinner provided by Bonnie Davis Catering. A portion of this admission cost is tax deductible. Additionally, sponsorships for the event are available. Funds raised will be used for scholarship assistance, programming and operating needs. This year’s benefit features both silent and live auctions. Patrons can bid on hundreds of prizes including trips, electronics and shopping sprees, as well as theater, sports and fine dining excursions. The event will also have a Big Ticket Raffle -- people…

Agnon students engage in volunteer work and charitable giving to benefit troubled teens, victims of domestic violence, impoverished families and abused animals
Social justice is one the seven core values taught at the Agnon School in Beachwood. Recently, students had the opportunity to practice the value of social justice to benefit troubled teenagers, victims of domestic violence, cancer patients, poverty-stricken families and abused or abandoned animals. “It’s a good way to help others and improve our community,” said Reed Abrams, an Agnon School sixth-grader who was cutting material to make a fleece blanket for a domestic violence center in Cleveland. As a fourth-grader this past year, Noah helped lead his basketball team to an undefeated season
Age: 10 School: The Agnon School Accomplishment: At only 10 years old, Noah Simon helped his basketball team earn an undefeated season this year. Key to Awesomeness: Noah sure does miss the basketball hoop in his bedroom. It was perfect: a Pop-A-Shot brand like you’d find in an arcade that stood across from his bed.
