Beachwood High School underclassmen sponsor family event
Beachwood High School's underclassmen are sponsoring a family-friendly event this weekend at the school. Winterfest is Feb. 24 from noon to 4 p.m. in the Beachwood High School south gym. The event features facepainting, games and video games, a Chinese auction and more. Admission is $5 per person or $15 for a family of four or more.

A moon bounce, representatives from the Cavs and Wii gaming are a few of the activities offered
The Beachwood Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual Winterfest Pancake Breakfast Sunday, Feb. 13. Organizers are expecting at least 2,000 to attend. Tickets are $5 for the event at Beachwood High School, which will feature a moonbounce, Wii gaming, exhibitors and, of course, pancakes, coffee, juice and fruit. An omelet bar is also available for an extra $3. Tickets are available through the Chamber or at the door. Representatives from the Cleveland Cavaliers will be on hand, and vendors will be selling last-minute Valentine’s Day gifts.
