Speakers at the joint funeral for Jance and Mary Paige Reynolds remembered them as outgoing personalities who cherished their loved ones
Jance and Mary Paige Reynolds were remembered Saturday as a father and daughter with larger-than-life personalities who knew how to make others feel loved and cherished. Cedar Hill Baptist Church held a joint funeral service for the father and daughter who died earlier this month in a house fire in Shaker Heights. Jance, 62, and Mary Paige, 18, died of smoke inhalation in the fire that broke just before 4 a.m. at 3333 Daleford Road. Siblings, cousins, teachers, co-workers and church members gathered for more than two hours for a service that inspired an equal amount of tears and laughter-filled memories for Jance, who worked at Saks Fifth Avenue at Beachwood Place Mall, and Mary Paige, who spent most of her life attending Shaker Heights …

It will be a busy Thursday
The Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage will host human rights activist Peter Godwin tonight at 7 p.m. We’ll be at Saks tonight for Fashion’s Night Out, which will benefit the AIDS Task Force of Greater Cleveland. Look for the photos tomorrow. The Cleveland Jewish FilmFest opens tonight at 7 p.m. with An Article of Hope and a dessert reception at Shaker Square Cinemas. Fashion's Night Out includes shopping, giveaways, makeovers and more
The AIDS Task Force of Greater Cleveland, Positively Cleveland, Cleveland Clinic Innovations and Stylelist have partnered to host Fashion's Night Out at Saks Fifth Avenue at Beachwood Place. The $50 ticket price includes a $50 gift card for Saks plus free makeovers, photo shoots, a scavenger hunt, a fashion show and live music. Ten percent of all sales during the event will go to the AIDS Task Force of Greater Cleveland, which provides AIDS testing and prevention education as well as advocacy and support to those with AIDS.
