The voluntary recall involves Nesquik powder only — no other products, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

Nestlé USA has announced a voluntary recall of some quantities of its Nesquik Chocolate Powder mix, which is stocked in stores nationally, due to a potential risk of salmonella contamination. The voluntary recall involves only Nesquik powder sold in 10.9-ounce, 21.8-ounce and 40.7-ounce canisters since early October, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Kellogg's Recalls Popular Cereal

Company orders recall after wire mesh found in some cereal pieces.

Local grocers took Frosted Mini-Wheats and Mini-Wheats off the shelves today after Kellogg's and the FDA announced a recall of the cereal. Some pieces of the cereal manufactured between April and September of this year were discovered to have fragments of wire mesh from faulty equipment. Check your shelves for the affected cereal — the only cereal affected are those boxes with KB, AP or FK before or after the Best If Used Before date. Heinen's, Dave's Market, Giant Eagle and Marc's in the Cleveland region confirmed that they carried the recalled product and have now unshelved the recalled products from their stores. Heinen's Recalls Crab Dip

Recalled dip has July 29 sell-by date; was pulled from store shelves Monday

Heinen’s, with locations in University Heights, Shaker Heights and Pepper Pike, has recalled a batch of its store-brand crab dip. Co-president Tom Heinen said the dip, part of the “Heinen’s Own” brand, was made at the company’s in-house manufacturer. A small piece of the tool used to mix the dip fell off during production. Heinen said that while the chip has already been found in one of the dips, the company decided to recall the entire batch. The batch being recalled has a July 29 sell-by date, Heinen said.  The dip can be returned to any of the company’s stores for a full refund, Heinen said. Customers can also bring in a receipt showing that they purchased the dip between Friday and Monday. By Monday, the batch was pulled from the …
