Get Out of My Panties: Nina Turner Sends Message to GOP

State Senator Nina Turner (D—Cleveland) has been a leading opponent of Ohio Republican efforts to defund Planned Parenthood, and her latest statement has turned some heads. At a press conference yesterday, Turner, who represents voters in Beachwood, Shaker Heights, parts of Cleveland and several other communities, wore a shirt suggesting a new meaning for the acronym GOP: Get Out of my Panties, the Huffington Post reported. Ohio Senator Nina Turner's Office Broken Into

Cleveland Police expected to release more details soon

Democratic State. Sen. Nina Turner's Cleveland office has been broken into, the Cleveland Police Department confirmed Tuesday morning. Newsnet5.com first reported the break-in at the office located on Lee Road between Miles Avenue and South Miles Road. Police have not released any other information, but plan to do so today. Check back later for more details. Turner is a senator for Ohio's 25th district, which includes Shaker Heights and Beachwood. Her current term expires in December 2014, but she is eligible to run for another four-year term. She was elected in 2008.
