LOOK: Last of the Beachwood Library Renovations

Renovations could conclude this week

We stopped by the Beachwood Library last week and took a couple photos of the latest renovations. The library has been open throughout the $885,000 renovations, which were paid for by a bond sale. More Photos: Beachwood Library Renovations Branch manager Bill Kelley said that the renovations could be complete this week — workers were working on the drive-thru when we stopped in. Click through to see photos of the library, and watch Beachwood Patch for more when the library is complete.

Get Your Library Fines Waived Beginning Sunday

Cuyahoga County Public Libraries offering fine waivers in exchange for food donations during Food4Fines March 4 to 10

Take food donations to the Beachwood Public Library next week to have your library fines waived. Patrons can have up to $4 of fines waived per visit when they bring items from the Cleveland Food Bank's "Super Six" list of most-needed foods: The library will waive $1 of patrons' fines for each undamaged, unexpired item. Nonglass containers are preferred.  For more information, visit the CCPL's website.

Drop Your Absentee Application at the Library

Saturday-only event saves voters a stamp

Voters may drop their completed absentee ballot application* at any Cuyahoga County or Public Library branch Saturday, Oct. 15 from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The one-day event was announced Wednesday. The Board of Elections will not mail absentee ballots unless voters request it at this website. The applications* are also available at all CCPL branches. Editor's Note: The original version of this article incorrectly reported that voters could drop their ballots at the libraries. We apologize for any confusion this caused.
