At a Beachwood event Monday honoring a local World War II veteran with a Purple Heart, Sen. Sherrod Brown joked about the popularity of his wife, former Plain Dealer columnist Connie Schultz. On the East Side of Cleveland, he said, people don't greet him. They say, "Where's Connie?" But at least one conservative blogger did not know about their marriage.
