Juvenile charged with shoplifting Wednesday, Nov. 7, 7:59 p.m. — A juvenile girl was arrested at Dillards and charged with shoplifting $119 of clothing. Glass employed in bar fight Wednesday, Nov. 7, 11:22 p.m. — A man tried to strike another with a glass at Capers bar in the Hilton during a physical fight. He was charged with simple assault. Purse stolen from car Thursday, Nov. 8, 10:27 p.m. — Someone broke out the window of a car parked at Bally Total Fitness and stole a purse from inside. Total damages are estimated at $1,200. Beachwood Woman Charged With Assault at Apt. Pool

Police: Mom hit parent over dispute about kids

The following information was supplied by the Beachwood Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction. A Beachwood woman was arrested and charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct after police say she got into a fight with a neighbor at her apartment’s pool. According to the Beachwood Police report, Terence Boston, 34, fought with another parent May 27 at the swimming pool at Beachwood Villas, 3465 Green Road. The parent had told their children not to play with Boston’s children, said police. Boston is accused of swinging her arm and hitting the other parent in the eye with her finger. The parent was not seriously injured. Her charges are pending approval from the Beachwood prosecutor…
