Beachwood Students Art on Display at Maltz Museum

Through May 5, the Maltz Museum will display artwork by the student winners of Jewish Federation of Cleveland’s Yom Hashoah art contest.

Beachwood Arts Council's Beachwood Schools K-12 Art Exhibit opens Wednesday

The Beachwood Arts Council will host an art show just for Beachwood City Schools students beginning this week. The 2011 Beachwood Schools K-12 Art Exhibit opening is Wednesday, April 27 at 5 p.m. at the Beachwood Community Center. The show runs through May 22. Viewing hours are weekdays 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturdays 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Sundays 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. It’s free and open to the public.

Color and creativity brighten a winter day at the finale of the All Smiles of the World children's drawing competition

The winners of the All Smiles of the World International Drawing Competition were announced on Saturday, Feb. 19. Judges chose three winners from more than 120 entries representing six countries. The event was sponsored by Gala, Inc., a non-profit organization that promotes emerging artists.
