Beachwood High School senior Amber Bogard was named last week's Bison athlete of the week. She helped lead the Lady Bisons to wins over John F. Kennedy High School and Independence last week. She recently signed a national letter of intent to attend Eastern Michigan University.
Beachwood cheerleaders raised more than $400 during the boys' varsity basketball game on Jan. 8. The money was donated to the Ronald McDonald House. The cheerleaders ran a 50-50 drawing and raffled off prizes donated by the Cleveland Browns.
