Maltz, Adler, DeVore Recognized by Chamber

Beachwood Chamber of Commerce Awards Luncheon to be Dec. 14

The Beachwood Chamber of Commerce has recognized the and Richard Adler in its first annual awards.

was named Citizen of the Year. Adler, an original founder and past president of the Chamber, was chosen based on his volunteer and service “above and beyond expectations” and exceptional involvement in civic activities.

The Maltz is the Civic Organization of the Year for its outstanding civic commitment and social responsibility.

DeVore Technologies, a computer technology training, classroom rental and website development and hosting companies, is recognized for outstanding growth, achievement in the workplace and a strong commitment to economic well-being.

Additionally, a special Taste of Beachwood award will be given to and the Chamber’s Bright Star award will be given to Robert Young.

Beachwood City Schools spokeperson Doug Levin, Beachwood Community Development Director Karen Carmen and Bill Kelly of the Beachwood Library comprise the selection committee.
