Jewish Federation of Cleveland Collaborates to Grant $900,000

Grants to promote health of minority women in Israel

The Jewish Federation of Cleveland has teamed up with Healing Across the Divides to award $900,000 in grants to women’s health care groups in Israel.

The Collaborative for Healthy Women aims to improve health care for underserved Israeli women. The collaborative will fund five community-based projects this year. The grants are awarded for a three-year period with annual renewal requirements.

The five grassroots projects share goals such as sexual education, health education and improving health rights for Arab women.
