Clock Tower, Building Replicas Built from Donated Cans

See photos from Canstruction on display until Monday

Volunteers from area companies and organizations built structures from 22,000 cans for this year's Canstruction at the Beachwood Place Mall.

A clock tower, a replica of the West Side Market and a Girl Scouts logo are just a few of the structures volunteers built, vying for prizes for best use of labels, structural ingenuity and judges' favorite.

Competitions like this one sponsored by Herschman Architects are held across the country, and Canstruction collects over 2 million pounds of food annually.
