Two Area Events Celebrate Olympic Fun Day This Saturday

Check out how you and your family can mark the start of the olympics in Northeast Ohio with the Let's Move! campaign.

Patch is excited to be joining with First Lady Michelle Obama for Olympic Fun Day.

The first lady is leading the U.S. Olympic delegation at the Summer Games opening ceremonies in London on Friday July 27. Her fitness initiative, Let’s Move, and Patch are teaming up to bring Olympic sports to life for you and your family in your town.

  • We'll be there when the Chidren's Museum hosts the Teddy Bear Clinic. Kids will use their teddy bears to participate in hurdles, soccer and basketball with their furry friends. Find out more here.
  • Maple Heights Public Library will host Wacky Games, when kids in kindergarten through 4th grade cn play games like the Flipping Frog Race and the Hula Hoop Contest. Registration is required. Find out more here.
