Beachwood Bison Baseball Team Comes From Behind For Another Win

The Bison scored four runs in the seventh inning to overtake Cuyahoga Heights

As they have in five of their last six wins, the Beachwood Bisons baseball team came from behind to top Cuyahoga Heights 8-7 Tuesday.

They scored four runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to seal the victory.

“We were down three and just talked about getting good at bats and talked about making the guy throw strikes,” Beachwood head coach Ben Singer told BeachwoodBison.org. “We needed to get base runners and we did that.”

The Bison were down two when senior Dillon Krantz faced two strikes with two outs and the bases loaded in the bottom of the seventh. He fouled off four more pitches as he battled back to draw an RBI walk.

Two more consecutive walks to Max Siegel and Todd Goldberg gave the Bison -- who are now 7-1 -- the lead.
