Rosh Hashanah marks the beginning of the Jewish New Year and the first of the High Holy Day observances. The year began on Wednesday evening. That morning, students at the Agnon School cheered contestants in Shofar Idol — a competition to see who could blow a ram's horn for the longest time.
The solo students featured in the video are in order of appearance: Danny Rvzhitsky, Julian Barnett and Evan Shaw.
