Division III 160-pound state champ Ryan Harris was honored for his victory earlier this month by the Ohio House and Senate.

“It was kind of nerve-wracking, I didn’t know what they were going to think, but once I started talking it was fun. It was kind of weird, all the people in suits and ties looking at you. I wear a suit and tie like once a year.”

Harris and his fellow Bison wrestler Sammy Gross have also earned the right to represent the United States in this summer’s Maccabiah Games in Israel.
