New High School Entrance Rendering to Be Presented Tonight

Beachwood Board of Education to see proposed use of newly acquired land

The  will see a rendering of the district’s proposed new entrance to at tonight’s meeting.

The district  north of the high school entrance, in January for $150,000.

The property is two parcels, and one parcel has a home on it. Beachwood’s zoning code prohibits property with homes to be rezoned, so Superintendent Rich Markwardt said that the district would demolish the house and landscape it, offering a “window” to the newly renovated high school from Richmond Road.
