Hilltop Elementary Principal Molnar Leaving District

While the discussed candidates for principal Monday evening, Hilltop’s principal accepted a job offer from another school district.

Superintendent Rich Markwardt emailed a memo to parents and the community today announcing that Principal Michael Molnar accepted an administrative position at Amherst Exempted Village Schools in Lorain County, where Molnar lives.

“This is a terrific opportunity for Mr. Molnar, both professionally and geographically, and while we are sad to see him leave, I am pleased for him personally and wish him continued success,” Markwardt wrote in his memo.

Molnar will serve as the Executive Director of Educational Services.

Beachwood City Schools will begin the search for the new Hilltop principal immediately.
