Fairmount Temple (23737 Fairmount Blvd., Beachwood)
will host a free Sunday Morning Forum on Sunday, Oct. 16, at 10 a.m. with a guest speaker, Facial Surgeon Daniel S. Alam, MD FACS, who was a key surgeon on the team that performed the Cleveland Clinic’s first face transplant. He will speak on: Transplanting Faces, Transforming Lives: The Ethical and Technical Challenges of Face Transplantation. This surgery made international
news—this is your chance to hear from someone who was instrumental in the process.

Dr. Alam is the Section
Chief for the Cleveland Clinic, Associate Professor of Surgery for Case Western
Reserve School of Medicine, and Fellowship Director of Facial Plastic and
