Board to Hear High School Renovation Update Tonight

The Beachwood City Schools Board of Education will hear an update on the renovations at at tonight’s meeting.
The renovations, funded mainly by a levy voters approved last spring, will cost approximately $35.6 million. Federal stimulus money will pay a $5.6 million share of the cost.

Changes to the school include a new north classroom wing with restricted access from the building's swimming pool, the addition of an auxiliary gym connected to the existing south gym, and the renovation of the north gym's space into administrative offices and a multipurpose room.
