Beachwood Students Get Perfect ACT Scores

The highest a student can score is a 36 on the test and four Beachwood High students did just that.

Beachwood High School now boasts four students who earned perfect scores on the ACT.

Seniors Graham Gobieski and Aaron Shifrin and juniors Scott Arkin and Jacqueline Reu have earned top composite scores of 36 on the ACT test, according to the school district.

Nationally, about one in 1,000 students will earn a perfect score.

The ACT consists of tests in English, mathematics, reading and science. Each test is scored on a scale of 1-36, and a student’s composite score is the average of the four test scores.
