"Phil Wagner has been an administrator in Beachwood for seven years, four of which he has served as assistant superintendent. Few people assume the role of assistant superintendent as a terminal career objective. Dr. Wagner
has developed a broad knowledge base during his career in education. He is ready to become a superintendent of schools. He has my support and that of the Beachwood Board of Education as he conducts his search for such a position," Beachwood City Schools Superintendent Rich Markwardt said Thursday.
