Beachwood Resident Announces Board of Education Candidacy

Steve Rosen began circulating petition Monday

Beachwood resident Steve Rosen has announced his candidacy for the Beachwood Board of Education.

Rosen told Beachwood Patch at Monday’s Board of Education meeting and began circulating a petition after the meeting.

Late Monday, he posted on Beachwood Patch’s Facebook wall, “Tonight I am officially announcing my candidacy for the Beachwood Board of Ed. The election is Nov. 8, 2011. I will be knocking on each Beachwood resident's door to meet you and ask for your support individually.”

Joshua Mintz has also pulled a petition for the Board of Education election, according to the Board of Elections website.

Candidates must collect signatures by August 10 to be listed on the ballot.
