Beachwood Patch Whiz Kid of the Week: Your Kid!

Know a child who goes above and beyond to help those in need? How about a student who's constantly setting the bar higher day by day? Or maybe a youngster who's endured an amazing journey already in life?

Beachwood Patch is looking for parents, schools and organizations to nominate a valedictorian, sports team, school club member, and any other outstanding youngster for our new weekly feature, Whiz Kid.

So far we've featured students aged 6 to 18, whose accomplishments include being a published author, excellence in dance, starting clubs and just doing their very best. But we know there are more Whiz Kids in Beachwood, and we want to meet them.

Whether they're a math whiz, a soccer whiz, a fundraiser whiz or anything in between, we want your nominations.

We want to stress that this is not a competition. We feature a Beachwood Whiz Kid each week on Wednesdays, so the more the merrier!

• Name
• Age
• School
• Outstanding Deed
• Key to Awesomeness

We will send our nominees some contact info, and once selected we will have this week's Whiz Kid meet with one of our writers for a short interview to see what makes them so awesome. Let the nominations begin!
