Beachwood Deaf/Hard of Hearing Program Supporters Request Task Force

Group of 14 parents and supporters send letter to Board of Education

A group of concerned alum, parents and community members have asked the Beachwood Board of Education to appoint a task force to evaluate the Deaf/Hard of Hearing Program at Beachwood City Schools.

The group includes Kenneth Bains, the parent of one of the program's alumni; Pam Broski, an alum; and several other alum, current parents and supporters.

The district, which administers the program that serves 29 school districts and 25 students, said earlier this month that it intends to reevaluate the program due to falling enrollment numbers and rising costs of the program.

This should be a great evening. Steve Berry, is one of the greatest authors of my decade along withRead More James Patterson. They both have done their homework in research and story-telling. I would love to listen to him, however, I will not be in the area that week. It would be wonderful if he were invited to the Heights area, either Legacy, Beachwood, Cleveland Hts., because he would bring down the house with fans. Thank you, again. Love his tales.
