Beachwood a 'High Note' in Music Education

Beachwood was recently named a top community for music education.

For the sixth-straight year Beachwood City Schools has been selected among the Best Communities for Music Education by the NAMM Foundation.

In its 14th year, the Best Communities for Music Education (BCME) designation acknowledges schools and districts across the U.S. for their commitment to and support of music education in schools.

The 307 communities named by the NAMM Foundation demonstrate an unwavering commitment to providing music education for their students.

The BCME survey requires districts to answer detailed questions about funding, graduation requirements, music class participation, instruction time, facilities, support for the music program and community music-making programs.
