All-Day Preschool Comes to Vote Tonight

Beachwood Board of Education calls special meeting to hold all-day preschool vote

The Beachwood Board of Education will decide on offering all-day preschool at a special meeting tonight.

and Spokesperson Doug Levin said that parents are registering their kids for next year's preschool now.* 

The next regular Board meeting is April 9.

Enrollment at Fairmount is up, said Leeds, and she believes it will rise again next year.

She said that studies show that students who participate in all-day preschool perform better academically. The all-day program would leave more time for math, literacy and social studies, among other activities.

The Board meets at 7:30 p.m. tonight at the Watch Beachwood Patch for the results of the meeting tomorrow.
