Drivers, Start Your Engines!
What do Cars, Beachwood Historical Society and trivia all have in common? That's right, the Road Rally!
On Sunday, July 29, 2012, Car Rally Teams met at the Porsche Dealership of Beachwood for the start of their Rally sponsored by the Beachwood Historical Society.
Mayor Gorden, master of Ceremonies helped record the starting times for the Teams as the Beachwood Historical Society Members waved their racing flags. Jed Hunter of Penske Automotive welcomed the participants. Participants were able to view and pose for pictures by porsches.
The day was filled with sunshine, trivia questions and immersion of history about Beachwood and its surrounding suburbs.

Cars were decorated by theme and the Teams wore t-shirts to match.
Participants followed directions and clues. One hundred questions needed to be answered by the end of the Race.

The final stop was a catered party at the beautiful Beachwood Community Center.
The following Winners answered questions correctly and had the best racing times:
FIRST PLACE: Jr. and the Outlaws
SECOND PLACE: Grandma’s Buns
THIRD PLACE: Cool Blue Mystery Mobile
What a fun way to spend a summer day with the Beachwood Historical Society! Participants are already making plans and mapping out their strategy for next year’s Car Rally!!!
