Sun Press: Beachwood Won't Waive Permit Fees for Schools

District hoped city would waive fees for renovations at high school

Beachwood City Schools will have to pay the $300,000 in permit fees for high school renovations, though administrators had hoped the city would waive them, according to the Sun Press.

School board officials met with the city to ask for the waiver and were given the impression that the council would not support it, Beachwood City School Board Vice President Mitchel Luxenburg told the Sun Press. The fees will be paid over a two-year period.
