Beachwood's four polling locations reported a smooth day so far early this afternoon.

At Menorah Park, where about 150 people had voted by early afternoon, cars were parked along curbs and on the end of rows in the lot because there were not empty spaces. Polling Location Coordinator Lew Sternberg said that it is normal to see a full parking lot there on Election Day, especially in the afternoon, when more people are visiting residents.

Sternberg said that he thinks Menorah Park will see more voters this Election Day than in 2010. Other poll workers expressed similar sentiments: polling location coordinators at both Hilltop and Bryden elementary schools said over 300 had voted, and the coordinator at Beachwood High School said he had seen a steady stream.
