City commemorates the holiday for the first time
A 30-by-60-foot American flag has been installed on the west lawn of to commemorate Memorial Day.
The flag is dotted with 800 smaller flags, with the top three stripes commemorating the 265 Ohio soldiers who have died in the Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts.
The display will be up until Flag Day, June 14.
