Budish Takes District 8 Ohio House Democratic Nomination
Incumbent and Ohio Democratic House of Representatives Leader in the lead by wide margin with all precincts counted
Incumbent and Democratic Ohio House Leader Armond Budish will face Republican Tony Hocevar for the District 8 seat.
Singh teaches public speaking at Lorain County Community College, owns a local newspaper, Made in USA, and is a laughter and relaxation therapist.
Budish, 58, of Beachwood, is an attorney who was elected to the seat in 2006.

Singh said that he thinks he can better relate to the district's constituents than Budish, who he called a millionnaire who has been an absentee representative for six years. "He can't identify with someone making $20,000 per year in East Cleveland," he added.
District 8 includes parts of Beachwood, East Cleveland, Richmond Heights, South Euclid and Euclid.
