'Lifestyle' Hotel Plan Presentation to P&Z Canceled
KA Architects did not say why they asked to be taken off Thursday's agenda
Preliminary plans for a hotel and two restaurants in Signature Square scheduled to be heard at Planning and Zoning’s Thursday meeting were taken off the agenda at the last minute.
Their July 18 presentation to the Beachwood City Council who told council that they had concerns about extra noise, light pollution, traffic and that they worried the hotel would not go through as promised.
Bill Griswold said that KA Architects, the firm representing landowner Goldberg Companies, sent a letter this week requesting that the legislation be taken off the agenda. The letter did not state why KA Architects would not present.

Griswold said that it is common for companies to postpone presentations to Planning and Zoning.
Representatives from KA Architects and Goldberg Companies could not be reached Friday.
