ID Required for Beachwood's Basketball Courts

New ordinance designed to ensure availability to residents

Players now may have to show ID to use the Beachwood basketball courts.

An ordinance passed at Monday’s City Council meeting limits use to camps, instructional clinics and Beachwood residents and their guests.

Beachwood Community Services Director Karen Carmen told City Council that the ordinance could be enforced with ID checks.

The ordinance also mentions that signs will be posted at the Beachwood basketball courts.
