DEADLINE: Register to Vote by Tuesday

Not sure if you're registered? Check by name and DOB

Tuesday, Oct. 11 is the deadline to register to vote in Cuyahoga County.

The Cuyahoga County Board of Elections has the information you need to cast your vote on November 8. 

To vote, you have to be a citizen of the United States, be at least 18 years old and have lived in Ohio for 30 days before the election - and, of course, registered by tomorrow.

Click here to download and print the registration form. Here's what you need:

  • Adobe reader installed on your computer
  • Your Ohio Driver’s License number, or the last four digits of your social security number
  • A computer printer — so you can print out and sign the form

The card has to be signed, stamped and postmarked 30 days before the election; mail it to the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections, 2925 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio, 44115.

You can also drop off the form in person at the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections (click here for a map) or register at any of the following locations:

  • Any county board of elections or the Secretary of State’s office
  • Public libraries, including the 
  • Offices of the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles
  • Any public high school or vocational school
  • Offices of designated agencies including:
    • The Department of Job and Family Services
    • The Department of Health (including the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program)
    • The Department of Mental Health
    • The Department of Developmental Disabilities
    • The Rehabilitation Services Commission; or
    • Any state-assisted college or university that provides assistance to disabled students

Persons registering by mail must provide identification information when attempting to vote for the first time. Provide your current Ohio driver’s license number or the last four digits of your social security number on the registration form. Other acceptable identification information: a copy of a current and valid photo identification; or a copy of a utility bill, bank statement, government check, paycheck, or other government document showing name and address.
