Council to consider vehicle purchase, amendment to car dealership zoning
Beachwood City Council will consider easing restrictions on a local car dealership at a special meeting tonight.
Council members discussed the ordinance at last Monday’s Economic Development Committee meeting. has asked the city to ease a restriction on how many used cars the dealership can sell. As it stands now, they said, the dealership can only sell used cars that are traded in.
They noted that the dealership has requested the change to make it easier to get a loan, but the dealership has expressed that it does not intend to begin selling used cars.

The Recreation and Community Services Committee will meet at 4:30 p.m. at the Beachwood to discuss pool operations and summer events.
