Council to hear discussion on zoning change to allow hotel at Signature Square
City Council will hold a public hearing tonight for to allow a new hotel and two restaurants.
The property at the corner of Chagrin Boulevard and Richmond Road is zoned for office use only.

The owner of the property, Goldberg Companies, agreed to a restricted deed and have allowed Beachwood to be a benefiting party to the land conversion. If council agrees to rezone the parcels, Councilman and commission member Mark Wachter said the property deed would include restrictions to allow only the hotel and two restaurants Goldberg has presented to Council.
The public hearing is scheduled for tonight at 7:15 p.m., during the regular City Council meeting in . Council could vote on the ordinance after th public hearing.
