Aloft Hotel Seeks Final P&Z Approval Tonight

The developer will present final site plans at Planning and Zoning.

Aloft Hotel will seek final approval for a 70,000-square-foot four-story hotel in the Chagrin Highlands at tonight's Planning & Zoning meeting.

The hotel, operated by Starwood Hotels and Resorts, will have 135 rooms, an indoor pool and a lounge.

Developer Scott Berkowitz  which is adjacent to a residential street. 

Signature Square property owner  pulled that proposal after  that the hotel would be disruptive to the nearby neighborhood, and some residents alleged that Council was giving the developers and property owners special treatment.
