Thursday, Sept. 13, 2 p.m. — A Point East Condominiums resident reported that her neighbor was causing damage to her patio with burnt cigarette butts.

Woman scammed out of $3,710
Thursday, Sept. 13, 1:57 p.m. — an elderly woman reported that someone claiming to be her grandson called her and asked for money to be wired to help him because he was locked in a Mexican jail. After she wired him $3,710, she realized that her grandson was safe at home in Michigan.

Woman reports Beachwood company scammed her out of $4,000
Friday, Sept. 14, 12:33 p.m. — A woman reported that she hired a Beachwood financial consulting group and they did not pay her taxes with the $4,218 she gave them to use.
