While Beachwood is in line with most cities of its size in most crime, there were more incidents of violent crime in 2011 than any Ohio city with a similar population that participated in the FBI's report.
Cities are not required to report their stats to the FBI, and last year, Beachwood did not.
Violent crime includes murder and nonnegligent manslaughter, forcible rape, robbery and aggravated assault.
The property crime stats include burglary, larceny-theft, motor vehicle theft and arson.
The charts above show the total property crime and total violent crime in Beachwood compared to other cities, and also further break down each of these catergories.
See in the other charts of all reported cities with populations between 11,000 and 12,999 to see how these offenses added up.
