Two Workers Kicked Off BHS Construction Site

Police called to verbal dispute; no charges filed

Two employees working at the renovation site were removed from last week after police were called to their dispute.

responded to the high school just before noon Thursday, April 26 because someone reported two men in a verbal argument. The fight did not escalate to a physical altercation and no charges were filed, but Turner Construction, who is managing the project, removed the two men from the site.

The men were subcontractors of Ozanne Construction.

Beachwood City Schools spokesperson Doug Levin noted that the schools are careful to ensure students' safety in situations like these. He added that the dispute did not happen near students - and outside school walls - and, in fact, the students and staff would likely have not even been aware of it.
