Mystery of the frames

Saturday, June 9, 5:23 p.m. — Employees at called police because they suspected a theft had occurred in the store.

Nobody saw the act take place, but a surveillance video showed a woman removing frames from a rack. The workers also could not account for the frames after watching the video.

The frames are valued at $220. The case is still open.

Woman arrested for warrant, drugs

Saturday, June 9, 10:51 p.m. — arrested a woman on Chagrin Boulevard, near the northbound entrance to Interstate 271, for an outstanding warrant in another city.

The woman had an active warrant for her arrest in the City of Lyndhurst. Police also charged her with operating a vehicle under the influence of an unspecified drug, as well as possession of drug paraphernalia.
