Sneiderman Re-Indicted; 4 Non-Murder Charges Dropped
Andrea Sneiderman is still charged with malice murder and felony charges in connection with the 2010 shooting death of her husband, Rusty Sneiderman.
A DeKalb County Superior Judge Gregory Adams dismissed four non-murder charges against Andrea Sneiderman on May 1 in connection with the 2010 Dunwoody, GA daycare shooting death of her husband, Rusty Sneiderman, a Beachwood native.
In addition to facing malice murder and felony murder charges in connection with the death of her late husband, Sneiderman is also still facing charges for allegedly giving false statements to law enforcement officials, according to a report from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Prosecutors allege that Sneiderman was dishonest with investigators, intentionally steering them away from her former supervisor at GE Energy, Hemy Neuman, concealing evidence that could have led to his capture sooner.
Sneiderman has maintained that she had no involvement in the death of her husband and never was romantically involved with Neuman, another accusation lodged by prosecutors.

Sneiderman’s lawyers said during an April hearing that the indictment against Sneiderman did not “adequately, legally, sufficiently” put her “on notice of what she’s accused of doing.”
Adams agreed and wrote in his ruling that four of the counts in the indictment “did not meet the standard” for criminal indictments.
Adams also granted attorney Esther Panitch’s motion to reject the defense subpoena for documents from her client, Ariela Neuman, Hemy Neuman’s ex-wife. Additionally, Adams sided with the state to reject subpoenas served on Ariela Neuman and four members of Rusty Sneiderman’s immediate family, according to the newspaper.
Andrea Sneiderman's former boss Hemy Neuman is serving a life sentence for the shooting after a trial which painted Andrea Sneiderman as a manipulator in a murder plot to get her late husband's $2 million life insurance payout.
Sneiderman will be back in court on May 21 for arraignment on the new indictment. Her trial is set for July 29.
