Wanted unlicensed driver parks illegally while shoplifting

Thursday, March 15, 12:07 p.m. — Police say a woman illegally parked in a handicapped space while shoplifting at the , and she had a warrant out for her arrest for traffic violations. She was charged with stealing $138 of merchandise, having stolen property valued at $187.60, driving without a license, the open warrant and the handicap parking violation.

Child struck by car on Richmond

Thursday, March 15, 8:55 p.m. — An 11-year-old boy was struck by a car near the 3100 block of Richmond Road. Police said he suffered only minor inuries. He was transported to Ahuja Medical Center.

15-year-old charged for taking mom’s car

Sunday, March 18, 4:01 a.m. — A fifteen-year-old boy took his mother’s car without permission, say police. He was stopped near Chagrin Boulevard and Interstate 271 and arrested for violating curfew and driving without a license.

Man, girl arrested for shoplifting

Sunday, March 18, 4:44 p.m. — A man and a juvenile female were arrested at the for the theft of $634 of merchandise. The man was also charged for contributing to the delinquency of a minor and the girl was charged for possession of criminal tools and obstructing official business.
