Sharon Anderson-Norfus Killer William Hammons Sentenced To Life Without Parole

Hammons raped and strangled Beachwood Place makeup artist Sharon Anderson-Norfus in her Shaker Heights home last year

The man who pleaded guilty to strangling former Beachwood Saks makeup artist and Shaker Heights resident Sharon Anderson-Norfus last year will spend the rest of his life in prison.

William Hammons, 22, of Maple Heights, broke into Anderson-Norfus' Warrensville-Center Road apartment May 4, 2012 and sexually assaulted her and strangled her to death. 

On Monday, Hammons was sentenced to life in prison without parole and 100 years to life for various charges, according to the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor's office. 

He pleaded guilty last month to aggravated murder, aggravated burglary, two counts of kidnapping, rape, aggravated robbery, petty theft, misuse of a credit card, tampering with evidence and having weapons while under disability.
