Monday, May 14, 2:49 p.m. — Police responded to a security alarm at Phil the Fire on Orange Place for a breaking and entering. Surveillance video shows two males entering the kitchen, but nothing was reported stolen.

Men fight over $80 of stolen merchandise

Saturday, May 19, 6:44 p.m. — Police say they arrested a man after he was caught fighting over stolen merchandise at the Beachwood Place Mall. They were asked to escort two men who had been fighting out of the mall, but when they arrived, they discovered that the two men were fighting over a shopping bag that had $80 of stolen merchandise inside. One man was arrested for receiving stolen property and disorderly conduct.

Man tries to pass fake $100 bill at Starbucks

Saturday, May 19, 6:34 p.m. — A man was arrested at at the Beachwood Place Mall after police say he tried to pass a counterfeit $100 bill.
